After two-plus periods of waiting, the heroine for the CW’s Jane the Virgin finally handed in her V-card on Monday’s episode , as Jane along with her brand new spouse Michael consummated their nuptials with a separate evening within their new house. (C’mon, Jane’s currently had a child and gotten hitched… it was very long overdue, right?)
But first, the newlyweds needed to endure a tad bit more waiting. The Narrator teases us from the beginning by having a title reading that is card Days earlier in the day” together with noise of Jane and Michael grunting and moaning. (Jane even yells away, “Be mild with my field!”) Nonetheless it’s not that which you think: He’s just assisting her clean up her material with regards to their big move-in together. They’re nevertheless staying chaste, since Michael’s physician told them the other day he can’t have sex while he’s recuperating from their gunshot injury.
After obtaining the green light from Michael’s physician to complete the deed, however, he and Jane sprint with their brand brand brand new house — “Trust me personally, it is maybe not going to take very long,” he guarantees her within the elevator — simply to find Rogelio and a team of interior decorators already here, willing to revamp the spot. Michael shows that he and Jane remove it back once again to the shed, but Jane’s not too hopeless: “I’m not making love the very first time in a shed!”
They wait patiently for the decorators to drive out, then again Xiomara and Alba barge in to interrupt, and Jane and Michael consent to later try again on, after Jane works on her writing thesis. (Jane is interviewing Alba on her behalf romance novel, utilizing the cam on her behalf laptop.) That evening, Jane and Michael finally find some only time and jump into bed together.

She later confesses to Lina that she faked her orgasm so she and Michael could complete at exactly the same time. She attempts to spice things up with him by donning blue underwear and whipping down some “Sexy ‘n’ Wild Gel,” but that goes horribly incorrect, too. (Jane: “It feels like wasabi down here!”)
Plus, she’s an even more embarrassing problem to handle. Whenever Jane opens her laptop computer, she understands that the recording of Alba she provided for her writing advisor is obviously… a sex tape of her and Michael’s time that is first! (She inadvertently sat on the pc and switched on the cam before things got hot and hefty.) The teacher is only a little scandalized, but she additionally believes that Jane’s virginity describes a complete lot: “That’s what’s been missing from your own writing. Romance without intercourse is merely… fantasy excellent site to observe material.”
That’s when Jane attempts to speak to her inner seductress — aided by an eyesight of Alba’s sister that is deliciously evil, additionally played by Gina Rodriguez — and rev things up with Michael. But nothing works, and Jane chooses to end pressing whenever a nun type of Cecilia reminds her, “Sexual pleasure just isn’t the most thing that is important. What’s significant may be the connection between two souls.”
Michael storms down as he realizes Jane told Lina about their problems that are sexual and Jane cries to Xiomara, experiencing conflicted about losing her virginity. (“Like I destroyed something… like part of my identification.”) Xiomara informs her that she actually gained one thing, though: “You’re simply getting started. You’ll get here.” Jane returns and hears Michael listening to porn — but he’s actually viewing their intercourse tape, wanting to evaluate where he went incorrect. Together, they find things from the tape that Jane actually liked… then your cartoon rocket ship minds back in orbit. And also this time, Jane’s afterglow looks authentic.
